Gary Ortiz Dies in Motorcycle Accident on South 9th Street Near Lombardo Avenue

 
MODESTO, CA (November 9, 2020) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Oct. 31 after crashing into a van on South 9th Street near Lombardo Avenue.
 
According to reports, the family of Gary Ortiz has created a GoFundMe page, turning to the public for help in raising funds for his memorial.
 
California Highway Patrol responded to the crash to learn that Ortiz collided with a van, whose driver reportedly made a turn in front of Ortiz’s motorcycle at the last second.
 
Soon after, paramedics transported Ortiz to a hospital where he died, while the driver stayed at the scene for questioning.
