Woman Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Aurora Avenue North [Seattle, WA]
Vehicle and Pedestrian Involved in Fatal Crash on Aurora Avenue North near North 137th Street in Seattle
SEATTLE, WA (November 4, 2020) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a pedestrian accident on Aurora Avenue North on Wednesday evening.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near North 137th Street shortly before 6:00 PM.
Based on a report, the 58-year-old pedestrian was attempting to cross the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle came and struck her.
As a result, the woman died at the scene despite lifesaving measures by firefighters. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
Police said the driver showed no signs of impairment. However, they continue to investigate the case. At this point, additional details are not immediately available.
