Rider Hospitalized after Motorcycle Crash on 80 Freeway [Reno, NV]

Vehicle and Motorcycle Involved in Major-Injury Crash on 80 Freeway near Mogul Exit in Reno

 
RENO, NV (November 1, 2020) – Emergency crews transported a rider to the hospital after a motorcycle crash on 80 Freeway on Sunday evening.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the Mogul exit.
 
Based on a report, the accident occurred after the rider made an unsafe lane change. Subsequently, a vehicle came and struck the victim’s motorcycle.
 
As a result, the rider suffered major injuries in the incident. Emergency crews sent the victim to the hospital for treatment.
 
The crash caused officials to divert traffic off the freeway onto West Fourth Street.
 
The Reno Police Department is still investigating the case. At this point, officials do not have additional information to share.
