William Armstrong Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Ramon Road [Palm Springs, CA]
Three Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash on Ramon Road near Kirk Douglas Way in Palm Springs
PALM SPRINGS, CA (October 21, 2020) – Police confirmed that 73-year-old William Armstrong of Palm Springs died in a multi-vehicle crash on Ramon Road on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Kirk Douglas Way at about 9:40 AM.
Based on a report, one vehicle struck the side of another car where Armstrong was in. The collision also involved a third vehicle.
Emergency crews transported Armstrong to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where he died less than an hour after the crash. In addition, the driver of the first car that hit his vehicle suffered minor injuries. The driver of the third car was not hurt in the incident.
This time, an investigation is ongoing. However, officials don’t have additional information to share.
