Three Children Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Pintail Drive [Suisun City, CA]
Three Juvenile Pedestrians Struck by Vehicle on Pintail Drive at Sunset Avenue in Suisun City
SUISUN CITY, CA (October 19, 2020) – At least three children suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Pintail Drive on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Sunset Avenue around 5:15 PM.
Based on a report, the children were walking in the crosswalk at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, a vehicle came and struck them.
Firefighters and medics from the Suisun City Fire Department responded to the crash and transported the children to the hospital. As a result, they sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and later told investigators they didn’t see the children due to the sunlight. however, officials continue to investigate the case.
Authorities strictly remind motorists to give way to pedestrians who are crossing the street to prevent an accident. However, avoid distracted driving and always follow traffic regulations.
