6-Year-Old Boy, Woman Killed in DUI Crash on Cajon Boulevard Near Keenbrook Road [San Bernardino, CA]
Child, Woman Die in Multi-Car DUI Accident in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 22, 2020) — A 6-year-old boy and a woman died during last Sunday’s DUI multi-vehicle accident on Cajon Boulevard near Keenbrook Road.
According to reports, the tragic incident happened along the Cajon Pass and involved four vehicles.
Around 5:15 p.m., a blue Chevrolet Suburban heading southbound on Cajon Boulevard crossed over the double yellow lines and slammed into a silver Toyota Camry.
From there, the Chevy Suburban overturned and collided with a gray Nissan Titan, causing the driver of the Suburban to be thrown from the vehicle.
Meanwhile, a southbound white Ford F-150 crashed into the silver Toyota Camry, killing the 28-year-old woman piloting the Toyota.
Tragically, the fatality number grew by one as officials arrived to learn that the 6-year-old boy in the Chevrolet Suburban died at the scene.
According to the investigation, the Suburban driver sustained critical wounds from the accident. In addition, demonstrated evidence of impairment which subsequently lead to an arrest.
