74-Year-Old Joel Edwards Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Geiger Grade [Reno, NV]
Fatal Crash on Geiger Grade near King Lane in Reno
RENO, NV (October 16, 2020) – Police identified 74-year-old Joel Edwards as the victim who died in a motorcycle crash on Geiger Grade on Friday evening.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened in front of the 7-Eleven near King Lane.
Based on a report, the victim collided with a Washoe County Sheriff’s Office SUV. However, the details surrounding the crash were not immediately available.
The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office said Edwards died at the scene. In addition, emergency crews transported two deputies to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
The NHP is investigating the case. However, officials don’t have additional information to share.
