Bicycle and Motorcycle Crash on Ingraham Street near Reed Avenue in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 17, 2020) – A bicyclist suffered injuries in a crash with a motorcycle on Ingraham Street on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Reed Avenue around 3:14 PM.
Based on a report, the bicyclist was riding with a group of cyclists on Reed prior to the crash. At that time, a 23-year-old man riding a 2017 Harley Davidson Sportster was southbound on Ingraham. As the cyclists entered the intersection, the motorcycle struck the victim, a 49-year-old man.
As a result, the bicyclist suffered a broken left femur and broken ribs. Medics took the victim to a hospital. In addition, the motorcyclist suffered road rash to his right leg.
Officers from the SDPD traffic division were investigating the collision. This time, they don’t have additional information to share.
