SAN DIEGO, CA (October 9, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a stolen car in the 5800 block of El Cajon Boulevard on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened shortly after 5:AM AM.
Based on a report, the 26-year-old woman was just a passenger in the stolen Honda Accord. Police said that it was traveling at a high rate of speed when it smashed into a parked Honda Pilot, sending the SUV to crash into another Honda Accord parked in front of it. Subsequently, the unidentified driver jumped out of the Accord and ran off.
As a result, his passenger was left in the car. Paramedics took the unidentified woman to a hospital for treatment of a broken hip and a deep cut to one of her legs.
This time, an investigation is still ongoing.
