Rider in Critical Condition after Motorcycle Accident on Desert Inn Road [Las Vegas, NV]
Speeding Ends in Motorcycle and Car Crash on East Desert Inn Road in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 1, 2020) – Emergency crews transported a rider to the hospital following a motorcycle accident on East Desert Inn Road on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the intersection of Boulder Highway around 2:30 PM.
Based on a report, the victim was riding a blue 2001 Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. Subsequently, a 2016 Nissan Altima struck the motorcycle.
As a result, crews sent the rider to Sunrise Trauma in critical condition.
Police said the driver of the Nissan Altima stayed on scene and didn’t show signs of impairment. This time, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Collision Investigation Section is still investigating the case.
