ANAHEIM, CA (October 6, 2020) — One person died Sunday night following a single-car accident on Beach Boulevard near Ball Road.
 
According to Anaheim Sgt. Shane Carringer, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. when, for unknown reasons, a driver struck a utility pole along Beach Boulevard.
 
As a result, the driver sustained fatal injuries and his passenger suffered critical injuries.
 
At this time, authorities plan to dive into the investigation and determine the events preceding the crash and any possible factors.
