Man Dies After Sacramento Motorcycle Crash on Elkhorn Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 28, 2020) — A Sacramento man died following Saturday’s motorcycle accident on West Elkhorn Boulevard at West Second Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, units received a call around 9 p.m. that involved a motorcycle and a blue sedan.
Not long after their arrival, CHP officers determined that a black Yamaha R6, heading westbound on West Elkhorn Boulevard, collided with a blue Chevrolet Impala.
Investigations showed that the driver of the Chevrolet tried making a northbound turn onto West Second Street when the impact occurred.
As a result of the crash, the 30-year-old Yamaha driver died around 9:08 p.m.
Details surrounding the liabilities have yet to be confirmed by authorities. So far, however, alcohol and drugs have been ruled out as possible factors.
