Hit-and-Run Ends in Fatal Crash on 15 Freeway at Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 28, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a woman fleeing from an initial accident died in a multi-vehicle crash on southbound 15 Freeway on Monday afternoon.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Las Vegas Boulevard at approximately 1:00 PM.
Based on a report, the victim was driving a Honda CRV, fleeing from a hit-and-run crash with a Hyundai Sante Fe. Subsequently, she struck a GMC Sierra that was stopped at the intersection.
Emergency responders transported the woman to UMC Trauma, where she succumbed to her injuries. The coroner will identify the victim after kin notification.
The crash has closed the 15 Freeway southbound off-ramp at Las Vegas Boulevard.
