Wrong-Way Driver Dies in Fresno DUI Accident on Jensen Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (September 29, 2020) — One person died Saturday morning following a wrong-way DUI accident on Jensen Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.
 
According to news reports, the incident happened around 1:00 a.m.
 
Police believe after investigating that the wrong-way driver may have been drinking prior to the crash.
 
Unfortunately, the driver inside the wrong-way vehicle died at a nearby hospital. As for the other occupants in the second car, the two adults and two children inside fortunately escaped life-threatening injuries.
 
At this time, investigators will be examining this case more closely to determine the ultimate causes.
