Woman Hit, Injured by Car in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on East Grant Road
TUCSON, AZ (September 24, 2020) — A woman suffered serious injuries following Wednesday’s pedestrian accident on East Grant Road near North Wilmont Road.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the crash happened across from Devon Gables Assisted Living Facility.
Per statements, the unidentified pedestrian tried crossing East Grant Road outside of a marked crosswalk when an oncoming vehicle struck her.
As a result of the accident, she suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was later ushered to a local hospital.
Due to the crash, crews closed East Grant Road as they interviewed the driver and cleared the scene.
