One Dead in Crash at Cerritos Channel and 47 Freeway [Long Beach, CA]

Fatal Car Accident in Long Beach at at Cerritos Channel and 47 Freeway

 
LONG BEACH, CA (September 21, 2020) – One person perished Saturday following a crash at Cerritos Channel and 47 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:35 a.m. at the Port of Long Beach.
 
Around 7:58 a.m., officials contacted a representative from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office about the fatal victim.
 
However, the person’s identity has not been released at this time and information surrounding what led to the crash requires more examination.
