One Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on North Weber Avenue
FRESNO, CA (September 14, 2020) — A man died Saturday night after being hit by a hit-and-run vehicle in a pedestrian accident on North Weber Avenue near West Clinton Avenue.
According to news reports, officers arrived at the scene around 7:20 p.m.
Upon arriving, police found a 60-year-old man and a toddler in the southbound lanes, just north of West Clinton Avenue.
Police learned that several people had stopped to provide first aid to the man and the unharmed child.
Soon after, paramedics ushered the gravely injured victim to a nearby hospital where he died despite having received life-saving measures.
As for the driver, he or she fled the area, leaving investigators on the hunt for the suspect’s whereabouts.
