Leeann Forgason Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Grant Road [Tucson, AZ]

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on West Grant Road and North Jackrabbit Avenue in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (September 5, 2020) – Police identified Leeann Forgason as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on West Grant Road on Saturday night.
 
According to the Tucson Police Department, the accident happened at North Jackrabbit Avenue at approximately 8:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, Leeann Nicole Forgason, 33, was crossing from south to north of Grant Road at the time of the accident. Due to an unknown reason, a car going westbound struck her. Subsequently, the driver immediately pulled over.
 
Medics pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
 
Police determined that impairment and speed were not factors in the crash. However, they continue to investigate the incident and are asking anyone with information about the crash to call 88-CRIME.
