Stolen Truck Crashes into Building on Palm Avenue near Browning Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (September 9, 2020) – Medics sent one person to the hospital after a crash involving a stolen truck on Palm Avenue on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Browning Avenue around 9:00 AM.
Based on a report, a driver in a stolen truck ran a red light and hit a car. Subsequently, he knocked down a signal light and crashed into an office building right across from Bullard High School.
As a result, a woman in the second car suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Crews immediately took her to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the driver of the stolen truck tried to run from officers but was eventually arrested. Investigators showed the suspect has a criminal history. At this point, an investigation into the case is on-going.
