Vehicle and Motorcycle Crash on Highway 7 near 8th Avenue in Spanaway
SPANAWAY, WA (August 29, 2020) – Police confirmed that a rider died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 7 on early Saturday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident near 8th Avenue East just after 2:00 PM.
Based on a report, the motorcyclist was traveling north on the highway when a van going southbound turned left into a parking lot. Subsequently, it collided with the victim’s motorcycle.
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release the identity of the victim. The driver of the van was not hurt in the incident.
The crash is under investigation. However, police did not have additional information this time.
