FRESNO, CA (August 30, 2020) – Police cited Lindsay Smith after a DUI crash on Los Altos Avenue at 7th Street on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Cedar and Herndon Avenues around 11:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 33-year-old woman crashed her car into a home. Fresno police said the accident occurred while Smith was driving westbound on Los Altos and lost control of her car. Subsequently, she hit another vehicle parked in the roadway before crashing into the house.
 
Two people from inside the house pulled her out of the car and kept her at the scene. Crews took her to Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
Later that day, Lindsay Smith was cited for driving under the influence. At this time, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
