SAN FRANCISCO, CA (August 24, 2020) – A rider suffered serious injuries after a scooter crash on Cortland Avenue on Monday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Prospect Avenue shortly before 1:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the rider was operating an electric scooter. Due to an unknown reason, a vehicle hit the victim.
 
The San Francisco police said the accident left the rider with life-threatening injuries. Medics sent the victim to the hospital for treatment.
