Three Hospitalized after Sheriff’s Patrol Car Crash on 20th Street [Lancaster, CA]
Sheriff’s Patrol Car Involved in Crash on 20th Street near Avenue L in Lancaster
LANCASTER, CA (August 22, 2020) – Medics sent at least three people to the hospital after a sheriff’s patrol car got involved in a crash on 20th Street on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Avenue L at approximately 1:47 PM.
Based on a report, the patrol car collided with another vehicle. However, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau did not release the details that led to the accident.
As a result, six people sustained injuries in the crash. Emergency crews airlifted a child to Northridge Hospital Medical Center and another victim to Antelope Valley Hospital. Crews also sent the deputy in the patrol car to the hospital with minor injuries.
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
