Pedestrian Dies in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident at North Nellis Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 20, 2020) — A 52-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident at North Nellis Boulevard and East Judson Avenue Tuesday night.
According to Lt. David Gordon, police officers responded to reports of a collision around 9:44 p.m.
The Last Vegas Police said in a statement that the 52-year-old man trying to collect scrap metal from the intersection was hit by a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe.
Further investigations proved that the driver of the Hyundai struck the man while heading south on Nellis Boulevard.
As a result, the pedestrian died at the scene.
Per reports, the Hyundai driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigations, which showed that neither impairment nor speed played a role in the accident.
