NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (August 15, 2020) – A man suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Martin Luther King Boulevard on Saturday evening.
According to the North Las Vegas Police, the incident happened near West Gowan Road just after 9:00 PM.
Based on a report, the victim was crossing the street with his dog at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, a vehicle struck them and left the scene.
As a result, his dog died at the scene. Emergency crews took the man to University Medical Center, where was expected to survive.
Police continue to investigate the case. At this point, they don’t have additional details to share with the public.
