One Injured in FedEx Crash Into 7-Eleven in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 20, 2020) — One person sustained minor injuries Tuesday after a FedEx delivery truck crashed into a 7-Eleven on Garnet Avenue near Fanuel Street.
The incident happened around 11:00 a.m. in Pacific Beach. According to police Sgt. Matthew Botkin, paramedics arrived at the scene to treat one person who sustained minor injuries.
The 7-Eleven store had to be evacuated, reports noted. However, it is unclear whether the store sustained severe structural damage.
During the investigation, the FedEx driver informed investigators that the check engine light came on, causing the power steering to stop working.
