Fatal Los Altos Hills Minivan Accident on 280 Freeway

 
LOS ALTOS HILLS, CA (August 17, 2020) — One person died Sunday evening following a solo-minivan accident on the 280 North Freeway near Magdalena Avenue.
 
According to fire officials, the crash took place around 4:55 p.m., just north of the Foothill Expressway on-ramp.
 
Firefighters arrived at the scene and found a white Toyota Sienna that had overturned with seven people still trapped inside.
 
However, in spite of life-saving measures provided by firefighters and paramedics, one person died at the scene.
 
Six people sustained injuries in the accident, two of whom suffered major injuries and two others with moderate injuries. All the injured patients were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
