Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Grand Avenue [Glendale, AZ]
Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on n Grand Avenue at Orangewood Avenue in Glendale
GLENDALE, AZ (August 15, 2020) – Police confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on Grand Avenue on late Saturday night.
According to the Glendale Police Department, the collision happened near Orangewood Avenue at approximately 11:40 PM.
Based on a report, the man was in the roadway at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, a car traveling north on Grand Avenue hit him.
Emergency crews rushed the victim to a hospital. Unfortunately, he later died due to severe injuries. Officials did not yet release his identity pending kin notification.
Police don’t believe that speed and impairment were factors in the crash. However, they continue to investigate the case.
