Bicyclist Dies After Being Hit by Car at Green Valley Parkway and Paseo Verde Parkway [Henderson, NV]

Man Dies in Henderson Bicycle Accident on Green Valley Parkway

 
HENDERSON, NV (August 18, 2020) — A bicyclist died Sunday after being struck by a vehicle at South Green Valley Parkway and Paseo Verde Parkway.
 
According to police, a driver of a black Hyundai SUV, heading northbound on Green Valley Parkway, struck the bicyclist at Paseo Verde Parkway around 6:00 a.m.
 
Following the crash, paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
 
Investigators believe speed did not play a role in the accident; however, whether impairment played a factor requires additional investigation.
 
At this time, the identity of the bicyclist has not been released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
