Car Strikes Tree in Santa Clarita Crash on Bouquet Canyon Road
SANTA CLARITA, CA (August 17, 2020) — One person died Saturday after a car crashed into a tree on Bouquet Canyon Road near Texas Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred around 4:00 p.m.
Arriving crews found one person dead at the scene. Upon finding another person still trapped and injured in the wreckage, firefighters used hydraulic tools to free the injured victim.
Not long after freeing the victim, firefighter-paramedics transported him or her to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for further treatment.
According to investigations, the black Chevrolet Blazer SUV crashed into the tree under unknown circumstances.
Since details remain unclear, authorities are encouraging witnesses with information to call their offices.
