Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident
PHOENIX, AZ (August 5, 2020) – Police identified Randy Roberts as the victim who died in a hit-and-run on 7th Avenue on late Friday evening.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Indian School Road just before 12:00 AM.
Based on a report, Roberts was attempting to cross Indian School Road prior to the crash. Subsequently, an unknown vehicle came and struck him when he was mid-block. The driver of the vehicle did not stay at the scene.
Emergency crews found the 55-year-old victim lying in the road. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
