Aaron Knosp Dies in Motorcycle Crash on South Kolb Road [Tucson, AZ]
59-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Fatal Crash on South Kolb Road and East 19th Street in Tucson
TUCSON, AZ (August 13, 2020) – Police identified 59-year-old Aaron Knosp as the victim who died in a motorcycle crash on South Kolb Road on Saturday night.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near East 19th Street at approximately 11:21 PM.
Based on a report, Knosp was traveling northbound on Kolb Road when he slowed down to make a right-hand turn onto 19th Street. Subsequently, a 2003 Acura TL traveling at a high rate of speed struck him from behind.
Upon arrival, Tucson Fire Department personnel treated the motorcyclist for his injuries. Unfortunately, he died at the scene.
The Tucson Police Department is investigating the crash. However, officers don’t have additional information to share this time.
