Boy Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Accident on McFadden Avenue [Santa Ana, CA]
Vehicle and Pedestrian Crash on McFadden Avenue at Orange Avenue in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, CA (August 10, 2020) – Emergency crews sent a boy to the hospital after a hit-and-run accident on McFadden Avenue on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Orange Avenue at approximately 8:40 PM.
Based on a report, a pickup truck struck the teenage boy. However, officials did not know yet if the incident occurred in a designated crosswalk. In addition, the driver fled the scene after the crash.
As a result, emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the victim down in the roadway. They took him to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Santa Ana Police Department is investigating the case. At this point, they don’t have additional details to share with the public.
