Family of Four Hospitalized after T-Bone Crash on Sheep Creek Road and El Mirage Road in Adelanto
ADELANTO, CA (August 8, 2020) – Police confirmed that a woman suffered critical injuries in a T-bone crash on Sheep Creek Road on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near El Mirage Road at approximately 9:30 PM.
Based on a report, responders located a silver Chevrolet Tahoe and a silver Ford F-150 at the scene. San Bernardino County Firefighters used extrication tools to remove a young child from the Chevy.
As a result, the girl suffered some scrapes from the incident. Emergency crews rushed her, another little girl, and their father to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment. In addition, their mother who was sitting in the front passenger suffered severe injuries. Crews requested to airlift her to a trauma center, where she was listed in critical condition. The driver of the pickup truck sustained a gash to the back of his head.
Police did not release additional information. However, they continue to investigate the collision.
Not following traffic lights can lead to a T-bone crash. Do not fall into this mistake when driving. However, stay in the right lane and always be alert when driving.
