HESPERIA, CA (August 8, 2020) – Police confirmed that a rider suffered critical injuries following a motorcycle crash on 15 Freeway on Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Oak Hill Road and Ranchero Road at approximately 6:10 PM.
 
Based on a report, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim’s motorcycle. Consequently, the impact sent the bike into the right-hand shoulder of the freeway and the rider into the center divider.
 
As a result, paramedics sent the motorcycle rider to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
 
Authorities closed the northbound and southbound traffic of the freeway while the helicopter landed on the scene.
 
The crash remained under investigation by the Hesperia Police. At this point, officials don’t have additional information to share.
