OJAI, CA (August 11, 2020)—A woman died in a bicycle accident Friday evening on Cuyama Road near Del Norte Road.
 
According to reports, the incident unfolded around 6:55 p.m. in the 1000 block of Cuyama Road.
 
Investigators determined that Maryan Weil was riding her bicycle westbound on Cuyama Road when a vehicle struck her under unknown conditions.
 
The driver stayed back and cooperated with the investigation; however, reports did not indicate what led to the accident or where the fault lies.
 
Since information remains limited, Ojai deputies have launched an investigation to determine the events that took place prior to the impact.
