Motorcycle and Car Cause Crash on San Pasqual Valley Road in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 8, 2020) – Medics sent a man to the hospital following a motorcycle crash on San Pasqual Valley Road on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 3:40 PM.
Based on a report, the 45-year-old man was on his 2016 Yamaha eastbound on San Pasqual prior to the incident. Due to an unknown reason, he lost control of his bike and crossed the double yellow line. Consequently, he hit the front-end part of a 2017 Subaru Outback driven by a 66-year-old man.
As a result, emergency crews said the rider suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took him to the hospital for fractures to his left femur, tibia, and fibula. The car driver was not hurt in the commotion.
The crash remained under investigation by the San Diego Police. At this point, officials don’t have additional information to share.
