Man Killed in Phoenix Motorcycle Accident on Happy Valley Road
PHOENIX, AZ (July 30, 2020) — A 39-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on Happy Valley Road near North 67th Avenue on July 25.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, a driver exiting a private driveway tried making a left-hand turn onto westbound Happy Valley Road; however, during this maneuver, the driver collided with the eastbound motorcyclist.
Per Phoenix Police Sgt. Ann Justus, speed and impairment have been ruled out as contributing factors in the crash.
Reports did not indicate whether police issued the 76-year-old female driver of the vehicle a citation. However, the driver did not sustain any injuries.
An investigation regarding this crash remains.
