Man Hit, Killed by Car in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Jennifer Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (July 31, 2020) — A man died Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident on West Jennifer Avenue near West Shaw Avenue.
 
According to police, the incident took place around 11:30 p.m. Officers arrived shortly after and interviewed the driver who informed officers that as he was heading south, he did not see the man standing in the road.
 
With virtually no time to stop, his vehicle struck the man, causing the pedestrian fatal injuries.
 
At this time, information regarding if speed, impairment or distracted driving had played a role remains unknown.
