Woman Dies After Being Struck by Two Cars in San Bernardino DUI Accident on 210 Freeway
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (July 31, 2020) — A woman died late Tuesday when two drivers, including an impaired driver, struck her on the 210 Freeway near North Waterman Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was standing outside her disabled Toyota Camry around 11:53 p.m. CHP Officer Ivan Sandoval added that the unidentified woman was on the westbound 210 Freeway at the gore point of the Waterman Avenue off-ramp.
Meanwhile, a Lexus driver traveling in the No. 4 lane veered to the right and struck her, as well as her Camry. A second collision ensued, as an oncoming black Kia Sedona hit the woman again and the Lexus.
As a result of the accident, the woman succumbed to her injuries.
The 52-year-old driver of the Lexus now faces charges of suspicion of murder and driving under the influence, per reports.
