Two Vehicles Cause Crash on Highway 180 at Highway 99 in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (July 25, 2020) – Paramedics sent a woman and two children to the hospital after a crash on Highway 180 on Saturday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Highway 99 just before 1:00 PM.
Based on reports, a Toyota Rav4 was heading west on Highway 180 prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it veered off the roadway before it went airborne and landed on Highway 99. Finally, it hit three other vehicles on the roadway.
Emergency crews took the female driver of the Rav4 and two children to the hospital with minor injuries.
CHP officers said correctly installed car seats helped save the two children from serious injuries.
Fresno Police is investigating the cause of the crash. However, officers don’t have additional details at this time.
