Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway [Lost Hills, CA]
Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway near Twisselman Road in Lost Hills
LOST HILLS, CA (July 24, 2020) – Police confirmed that a man died in a motorcycle crash on 5 Freeway on Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Twisselman Road.
Based on reports, a group of motorcycles was traveling close to one another on the freeway prior to the crash. Due to an unknown reason, one rider crashed into another vehicle. Consequently, impact ejected him from his motorcycle.
Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. They only identified him as a 33-year-old man from Las Vegas.
It is unknown at this time whether drugs or alcohol were a factor. However, officials are asking anyone with information to contact the Buttonwillow area CHP office at (661) 764-5580.
