One Killed in Car Accident on Highway 202 and 40th Street [Phoenix, AZ]

Deadly Two-Car Collision in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (July 17, 2020) — A car accident on Highway 202 and North 40th Street turned fatal Thursday.
 
The deadly two-car collision occurred around 1:15 p.m. on eastbound Loop 202.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a large truck was off to the side of the road when an oncoming minivan struck it under unknown circumstances.
 
Unfortunately, one person inside the van died as a result of the crash.
 
Investigators have more to examine as the cause and other outstanding details remain unclear.
