Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run on Northgate Boulevard [Sacramento, CA]
Man Struck and Killed in Sacramento Hit-and-Run on Northgate Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 12, 2020) – A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run on Northgate Boulevard on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near West El Camino Avenue around 2:45 PM.
Based on a report from the Sacramento Police, a dark-colored four-door sedan with tinted windows hit the man. In addition, the driver fled the scene after the incident.
Emergency crews located the victim down in the road. As a result, he died at the scene due to severe injuries. They did not release his identity pending kin notification.
As of today, police don’t have additional details regarding the hit-and-run driver. However, they continue to investigate the case.
