Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Collwood Boulevard [San Diego, CA]
Car and Motorcycle Crash on Collwood Boulevard at Montezuma Road in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 9, 2020) – A man suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash in the 5000 block of Collwood Boulevard on Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just south of Montezuma Road at approximately 7:00 PM.
Based on a report from the San Diego Police Department, the victim was traveling in his Harley-Davidson when a Honda pulled out in front of him. As a result, the motorcycle ran into the side of the vehicle.
Emergency crews sent the motorcyclist to the hospital with leg and head injuries. They confirmed that the victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening. The driver of the Honda did not sustain any injury.
The SDPD’s Traffic Division is investigating the crash. As of this time, officers don’t have additional information.
