Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Capricorn Way in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 10, 2020) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a hit-and-run on Capricorn Way on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Black Mountain Road around 9:45 AM.
Based on a report, the victim was crossing Capricorn in a designated crosswalk when a black 2004 Nissan Titan struck her. According to police, the vehicle was making a right turn onto the street from Black Mountain at the time of the accident.
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the woman dead at the scene. They did not release her name. In addition, the driver left the scene before the police and firefighter arrived.
Police are investigating the crash. As of today, they don’t have additional details related to the case.
