Woman Seriously Injured in Red-Light Accident on Clinton Avenue [Fresno, CA]
Multiple Vehicles Crash on Clinton Avenue at Maple Avenue
FRESNO, CA (July 4, 2020) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a red-light accident on Clinton Avenue on early Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Maple Avenue at approximately 2:30 PM.
Based on a police report, a Cadillac was traveling eastbound on Clinton when it ran a red light and struck the side of a Ford Fusion. As a result, the Ford spun around and collided with a black truck on Maple.
Emergency crews took the Ford driver, a woman in her early 20s, to a hospital with serious injuries. In addition, she is now in stable condition. Crews also took the two people in the truck to the hospital with moderate injuries.
No other details were released. However, an investigation is ongoing.
