One Hospitalized After Head-On Crash on Cajon Boulevard [San Bernardino, CA]
Dump Truck Involved in Head-On Crash on Route 66 and Kenwood Avenue
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (June 30, 2020) – Emergency crews sent one person to the hospital after a head-on crash on Cajon Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Kenwood Avenue at approximately 4:21 PM.
A statement from witness Matt Fuller, a resident of Apple Valley, said that a male in his mid 20’s who was driving a white sedan swerved in the lanes prior to the incident. As a result, it went head-on with a Super-10 Dump truck.
San Bernardino County Fire firefighters rescued the driver in the sedan who was trapped inside the car. They transported him to a hospital with unknown injuries.
Police did not release additional details on the crash. However, the case is still under investigation.
