Two Critical After Accident on North Rampart Boulevard [Las Vegas, NV]
Two Vehicles Involved in Crash near Del Webb Boulevard in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 24, 2020) – Two people became critical after an accident on North Rampart Boulevard on Wednesday evening.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Del Webb Boulevard just after 6:00 PM.
According to police, a 2012 BMW M5 was traveling southbound on Rampart and was about to approach the intersection before the crash happened. At the same time, a 2012 Mini Cooper was turning left from Rampart to Del Webb on a green light. For an unknown reason, the vehicles collided.
As a result, paramedics sent both drivers to University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Crews closed the intersection for several more hours. In addition, they asked other drivers to avoid the area as police continue their investigation.
Police said that none of the drivers showed signs of impairment at the scene. However, they continue to investigate the case.
