Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Rollover Crash near Damonte Ranch Parkway in Reno
RENO, NV (June 23, 2020) – Police officers are now looking for a hit-and-run driver after a rollover crash on 580 Freeway on Tuesday morning.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Damonte Ranch Parkway around 7:30 AM.
A report from the Troopers showed that a silver Saturn was driving northbound on the freeway when a dark grey SUV attempted to make an unsafe lane change. To avoid being hit, the driver of the Saturn hit the median and rolled over. The SUV did not stop at the scene.
Emergency crews said that the Saturn driver did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
In addition, police described the driver of the SUV as a woman in her early to mid-30s with dirty blonde hair. They are still investigating the case. However, they are asking anyone with any information to can call the NHP.
